There’s a big secret at Dr. Hugo’s Factory for Making Robots. When the inventors aren’t looking, their tiny robots go on big adventures. They never expected to stumble onto a plot so diabolical it threatened their very existence. With lasers.
It all starts when Zander - possibly the world’s most absent-minded inventor - trips over a metal box buried outside the factory. Puzzle aren't real puzzle,
Annoying
Too kiddish for a 17 yrs old (personnaly). This seems like the sort of thing I'd like, different robots with different abilities working together to solve puzzles, but it's too short and the puzzles never become difficult. Also it's a bit boring to have to move all the robots, the same problems as Lost Vikings, but not quite as lively.

It's worth pointing out that this a sequel to a freeware game with identical gameplay and equivalent length. I would recommend playing that first.. what's puzzling is why i own this. 8/10 older adventure game - really nice one =]
. This game is SO cute. I love how the littlw robots try to help out the couples and save the day. It's fun, interesting and it makes you wanna finish it in one sitting. Don't look this one over, IT'S GREAT!!

The playtime is remarkably short, and the graphics are very low quality (one of your friends starting a game costs you 1/8th of your screen) but overall the game is pretty darn cute and a good way to waste an hour or two.. I bought this game through humble bundle a while back and never gave it a try. I was categorizing my games on Steam when I ran across it again. I almost dismissed it again, but I thought I'd play it for five minutes so I knew where to put it.

Well, I ended up beating the game over a course of two days, and I've got to say, it was a lot of fun!

Here's a couple points I enjoyed:
* There was a dual narrative happening the entire game and the cutscenes felt like rewards for figuring out the puzzle.
* The art and music initially didn't appeal to me, but as I played I grew to love it.
* The characters were consistant and interesting to me.
* The game didn't take itself too seriously, and there were laughs throughout the game.
* It was very reminiscent of DOS point and click games way back when, I could easily see this having been a DOS game.

Really, the only small point I felt needed improving was the mouths syncing up with the character's speech, and I did hear a small crackle twice when a character was being loud. These are barely noticable during gameplay though. Also, switching between bots using the 1 through 5 keys on the keyboard would be a great change.

All in all, I didn't expect to like Puzzle Bots, but I really enjoyed it! I would pay $5 for this game knowing what I know now. It's a short, punchy, self-contained story with interesting characters and good humor, and I'll be keeping my eye out for other games from these devs.
