I'm really sorry but the game's controls is so bugged that is completely game breaking, like you can't technically upgrade your weapons because the controls doesn't react and if so it completely glitches the game. Mouse controls doesn't work at all.. to put it simple, this is Hotline Hong Kong with slowmo a nice soundtrack beautiful maps and infinite ammo dual pistols only complain I have is the bartender ain't John Woo. They had me sold with the Hard Boiled quote in the trailer but if you need to know more this is a 2d isometric shooter with more John Woo style than Stranglehold. Similar to Hotline Miami with cryptic cutscenes and one-hit-kills but the action is a bit slower (slo-mo-er) and based around chaining dives and slides. What elevates it above glorified Max Payne mod is the attention to detail, the first boss perfectly captures the Woo trope of two enemies running and gunning along adjacent hallways. Barring any late game balance issues, this could be a new cult classic.. How on earth do you manage to make a game with such impactful graphics feel boring? The music is the only thing having a real punch here. sound is dull, character control feels laggy (with vsync turned off), it just feels unresponsive. I was waiting for this game since I saw the first 2D trailer years ago, but man. this is such a disappointing outcome. 2/10 Points. Refund.. Hotline Miami.not at all. The game doesn't generates various situation, but the game has repetitive levels and repetitive BOSSes, generic music that you you will forget. But the game almost masterpiece, when low iq guy review it after playing 0.3 hours. So if you are goning to play it only 0.3 hours, you can buy it without doubts. It's OK to play the game with slow-mo 1 chapter per day without trying to unlock achievements and do challenges. But if you try to do it, it will be pain in the $$. I had the problem with "Perfect aim". It means 1 shot = 1 kill. And it's not easy even with slowmotion sometimes, which makes game unfair hardcore. Here the problems I noticed while completing the challenge: 1 - You can't aim through the all sight area, only in the circle around you. IT makes harder to shoot the enemies on edge of your screen. They shot perfectly as soon as they appear on your screen and sometimes behind it. IT'S NOT HARD TO COMPLETE LEVELS WITH SLO-MO HARD FOR "PERFECT AIM" 2 - AI aims likes cheaters and can shoot you in the pixel. And that;s why this game doesnt give you chance to make mistake at all. For example, in Hotlime Miami 1 or Mr.Shifty you could miss the enemy, but instantly throw the weapon in him or quickly take another and shoot or just have time to run behind the corner. In this game you don't have the time if you miss. The AI shoots so quick and so perfect that you will not avoid bullet. IT' MAKES HARD TO COMPLETE LEVELS WITHOUT SLO-MO HARD AND NOT MUCH FOR "PERFECT AIM" E.g. you stand in one room with dual UZI (has the highest fire rate in game) and enemy in the other room. There is a straight line between you. You start to shoot through door. The 1st bullet opens it, the 2nd kills enemy.BUUUUT!!! Between this bullets there is another one. And it adressed to you by enemy. So if you stood when started shooting, it kills you. I won't say what usually happens with 4-6 enemies in the room 3 - Visually the game is not good. There are too much bloom sometimes, so you can't see bullets. Some objects on the map looks like you can shoot through them or above them. There broken cars and some boxes that you can shoot above. And there are boxes that are tall and bullets stall in them. IT'S NOT HARD TO COMPLETE LEVELS WITH SLO-MO HARD FOR "PERFECT AIM" 4 - There enemies which can roll like you, and they are invisible like you. It generates some gameplay problems even with slow-mo, because: a) They do it randomly - you can kill 25 ememies with 25 bullets, and the last one will suddenly roll.the result is missing shot.or not.sometimes I completed level with "perfect aim", sometimes it didn't count (shoot in the begining of roll - you missed, shoot in the middle of roll, the game forgive your BAD AIM). I restarted the level in 30-40% of all times bacasue of roll to complete challenge; b) they cancel "roll" animation in 50% of times. The animation itself is ragged (sudden startsudden stop). Without slow-mo at gives you another sudden death; c) Bullet dissappears when you you shoot in rolling enemy. It make Very very very very nervious is situations when you activate slow-mo, there is one enemy that rolls and another one behind him, you aim at him, but you won't kill him, because the game thinks you shoot at rolling guy.and dosn;t matter that reticle is NOT ON HIM. 5 - There is no any "feedback" or "impact" (or call it whatever) on your roll. Sometimes you finish the roll, make one step and want to roll again, but in fact you can't cause of delay.Plus there are little gaps in the start and in the end of the roll when you can shoot. And AI takes any chances to catch you. P.S.. Hard game, with great graphics and very interesting felling of killing people. One shot, one kill. Be careful and try to have patience to learn how the game works.. Totally awesome fun. Very short and not perfect. But what is there is 5*. I cannot wait for the sequel to this when it's fully fleshed out.
