U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services just published a final rule that raised the EB-5 Visa investment amount. If you are using a regional center, you can base your selection of the center on where you would like to live, though you do not have to live in the same state as the center if you do not want to.

Unlike many of the other immigrant visa categories that involve excruciatingly long wait times, the EB-5 program provides a conditional green card to a successful applicant and his/her family immediately upon approval by the US Citizenship and Immigration Services.

A foreign investor qualifies for the EB-5 program if he or she has invested or is actively in the process of investing in a new commercial enterprise.
