It's already six years after our heroes saved the World of Twelve from Qilby. They've all taken the opportunity to settle down into a peaceful existence. None could imagine what awaits them.

A strange messenger has come to inform Yugo, Adamai, Ruel, and then Percedal's family, that Princess Amalia, needs them : Ogrest is having another crying fit, which is flooding a huge part of the Sadida Kingdom. Worse still, the six Eliatrope Dofus, the only things capable of stopping him, have gone missing!

Only two of the precious eggs have been located: they're being held by the odious Count Harebourg, lord of Frigost Island. He's agreed to give them back in exchange for Amalia's hand in marriage. Ready to do anything to save her people, Amalia accepts his offer and the entire Brotherhood accompanies her to Frigost.

is good. I like the original french voice acting than the english...but is still good.. As an extensive player of "Dofus", I've spent enough hours in the game to be able to take part in Goult ( a yearly based event where earch national server picks selected people to PvP for their sever ) , and brother to the MMO of Wakfu, I am a bit dissapointed with the characters and their visual animation, and a sheer amount of information is lacking, but there's to much to cover.

At the end of the day, I do not regret buying it as I would suck Ankama's d*ck if they told me to, but that's not the case.

This episode decided to drop a lot of the comedy elements- a major part of the original series- to go for a more serious tone. Maybe to tell the story in enough time, but either way, the end result is something that doesn't quite feel the same as the original. Since this series has never been too complicated with its plot to begin with, and a bit childish with some things (everyone always believes the true statement as soon as it is said, for instance) this results in a contrived feeling.

I watched this episode, and i will watch the next two, but my general opinion is meh- it is nowhere near the original level of quality of the original.. I'm a 30 year old man. I don't usually like cartoons, anime or the like, but this series is spectacular. I enjoy this and the Avatar series almost equally with my kids. The series is fun, playful, intelligent and strays from the simplistic formula of "Bad guys are bad" and have actual continuity, that is to say, there are very few "fluff" episodes that don't contribute to the story. As an audience member I enjoy it when I am treated as if I were intelligent, my kids do too.

Be warned - This is Book 1, a continuation 6 years after the main story arc.
The TV series is on Netflix, please watch or support in your own way if you have the time or resources to do so.

It stays true to the characters (which are just awesome). I really enjoy that the villains aren't one dimentional - there is depth to their madness\/evil in most cases. The females in this are attractive and strong, and with a good takeaway message to female body types (being that there is nothing wrong with not looking like a celebrity centerfold).

Honestly after watching the french version the english dub is a little jarring, but not awful. It just loses some expressiveness or exaggeration in the translation or lacklustre voice acting (The french voice actors are far more enthusiastic)

I simply don't have the words to express how much I love this cartoon. Again, 30-something year old man. Child at heart.. A MUST WATCH and buy. I loved the wakfu Series so it's good to see it continue. I recommend watching it in French with sub -tittles though as the English Dubbed voices are just .... ear grating. The french tones for the characters fit much better.. It saves so much trouble getting this rather than going through trouble finding the best episode on the internet. It's well worth the price when you're a fan of WAKFU and come on, the series deserve their pay. All the nostalgia from the game i love, right in my steam library - I cannot wait for book 2..
