About This Game

Story

'BOOM' a ex-space engineer seeking revenge for his dead family that is killed by the 'Snakers', a extraterrestrial beings from a parallel universe of Gaia.

Starboost EX is a game that allows players to engage in both ground and air battles at the same time with advance flying mechanism.

You are not alone.

You can build A.I units such as turrets to help you in battle. If you wanted fiends, you can harvest underlings that are collected from monsters' eggs. They can also be deploy into battle. A total of 10 units can be deployed.

Early-Access & Multiplayer:
Hi Everyone!

PUNK-EX will be planning to launch in Early-Access on November 2nd 2018.

That's the current decision I am going for even though this might change. But right now, this is the direction for the Steam release.

About Multiplayer
PUNK-EX already has a PVP mode but it will take time to finalize it. Currently I am removing the 'Multiplayer' label on the game until it is 100% confirmed that the game has multiplayer mode.

I am going to focus more on the Single-player aspect of the game before going into developing multiplayer. So whether or not the game will have multiplayer mode is still unknown.

. "Space Ironman" PUNK-EX Early-access Launched!:

Hi everyone!, PUNK-EX has now launched on early-access Steam. During this phrase, I will be continuous improving on the game as well as listening to any feedback from players.

Feeling very excited and uncertain as this is my first early-access release as well as my first steam game releases.

The game is currently 85-90% playable but there will be some bugs that I missed fixing.

Please post any bug issues Steam discussion forums if you encounter any bugs.

The game has been updated and is 100% completed.

Starboost EX Will be going out of early-access in January 2019.

In this update we:

-Added a Mime enemy that copies the target's move set
-Added a Laser Skater enemy that moves quickly on rollerblades

-Changed street level boss area almost completely
-Made a new versus mode level based on the new street boss area
-Made big changes to Abusement Alley versus mode level
-Added boxing bags and fire hydrants to levels to be used as weapons
-Made it possible to cause the train to brake by damaging the control board

-Added new tutorial texts (you can disable them from the settings menu)
-Many bug fixes, gameplay and visual improvements, balance changes and level object additions. 'Starboost EX' new title:
The game's title is going to be renamed as 'Starboost EX' but I am still waiting for Steam's approval.

They may reject the new name but the game is still the same. If you bought the game and see the name as 'PUNK-EX', it is normal.

Fixed a bug that caused the laser turret to be not destroyed.
Fixed the 'running stop' animation
Changed the colors of some of the UI headings to make it more readable.

. Coming Soon - 7 days?:

PUNK-EX is going to be release on early-access very soon! In 7 days!

The date is set on November 2nd but there's a small possibility of releasing it a few days later if I encounter some problem with the game.

The game is 80% playable with the exception of the final missions. I will be listening to what players think of the game before moving forward with the rest of the game.

I will be updating the Steam page with a new improved trailer tomorrow
