About This Game

Travel across a world of ice and snow, through burned down ruins and treacherous peaks, to launch a rocket that will reach the stars.

“Once we fire the rocket, will these ghosts finally leave me?” Asked the man.
“Of course. Our goal, after all, is to return them to the cosmos” The witch replied.

Throughout the game, you will play as two survivors of an apocalyptic plague. Help them achieve the unimaginable of building a rocket, so they can return the deceased to their cosmic homeland through the ancient tradition of space burials.

Rocket of Whispers is a single-player adventure where players explore a vast snowy wasteland for rocket materials. As you dig through ruins and craft equipment to travel further, the story behind the demise of their world will slowly unfold through the artifacts you find.

I liked the game. The story was nice, and it is worth playing. I do struggle, however, to see why it got such positive feedback. The story is good, not great. The only reason I enjoyed it is because this is the style of game I enjoy (as in, story driven) and the story is reasonably thought out. There wasn't enough emotional engagement, however, for my liking. Obviously not every game will be a 10\/10, but I thought there were certain aspects of the game that could have gone deeper. The female role is good, but the male's contributions to the story are minimal.
Overall, worth playing but don't expect a great game, just a good one.. For honesty, I liked the game ! about the art and style and music and all, except three things I had to point to, the reason why I don't recommend this game :

1-the game doesn't make you feel like you've completed the story, this applies to both rocket of whispers and the day we found earth as their endings felt like something you've done in a rush as if "We can't stand this game anymore hurry up and end it !"

2-the story is very blurry and forces itself into your mind, it lacks a lot of information and purpose, it didn't really make any sense and this made the charm of the game incredibly hard to find .However it does give a bit of emotional experience .

3-the game play is so poor in a way that makes the game feel like a short movie rather than an actual game, everything happens passively till the end and the decisions you take are very limited, I mean the only thing you get to decide is where to go searching for specific things .

*this is surely because the studio is still small and not so experienced, but if you're buying the game for the sake of the experience, I Don't recommend that, the game is rather bought for supporting the creators .
