First there was "On the Rainslick Precipice of Darkness". Then there was another one of it. More of the same, but that's no bad thing.. I bought this game out of pure nostalgia. I remember how much I used to love it when I was younger. I've been wanting to play it for a while so I finally gave the ten dollars necessary to do so. I now somewhat regret my decision because the countless hours I used to have fun with this game no longer hold up.

Sure it's nice to have a real-time game that you can check on periodically like you do with Facebook or a virtual pet. This game however lacks the certain fun qualities of a real-time game. Your villagers randomly die while you're not playing and it doesn't clue you in on why it happened so that you can prevent it in the future.

Overall, I would say this game is worth three dollars max. I regret paying so much for it, but now I know what seemed fun when I was younger may not be the case in present day.. Mawwwwwwww?. Fun and origional game, with a very very amusing, laugh out loud, story (via video cut scenes). Comes with a character editor, and if you are handy with paint shop pro or similar, you can knock up a characer in an hour or so. Custom characters seem to be only available in multiplayer (but I couldn't find any active servers, maybe that's just me). Your character is fixed for story reasons in the single player. Left me wanting more...Well worth the money, highly recommended.. Pretty insane game,finished it in 15+ hours.Luck wise,it's little bit annoying.And folding vs AI's is not fun most of the time.
Other than that,game is pretty unique and balanced.Have fun.. Same as part 1. Don't unless you liked that one.. Pretty fun little mini-game game to play when you don't feel like playing "real" games. The constant Half-Life references are a bit annoying, but it's fun over all.
