man this game would be fun if it worked. Neverdead is a far from complete game, you get what you pay for. The description clearly explains about the early acess. To give this game a bad review would be counter productive and unfair. The game is playable, but a work in progress, there are no zombie models, which is rather interesting whilst playing.

Should you buy it: I would only suggest purchasing this game if you understand what early acess is. You are not buying a complete game, you are basically bug testing. This game is ony $2, if you want to be involved into the developent of the game I would suggest it. If you expect a polished and finished game, do not purchase.

What is this game: This game is essentially Call of Duty Nazi Zombies. This game has the potential to be much more if all plans are implemented.

Rating: A rating is not warranted. This Game is Very Good, I Can Kill Zombie Blobs and some Weapons to Kill, WOW

Rating: 10\/10. Imagine an old school game like doom and wolfenstein. Okay now imagine modern genres like crafting, building, survival, looting, and rpg. Now waffle stomp both of that through the drain and the infused pieces that made their way through is the game. Not that pretty, but this here is the fertilizer for the growing seedling to come. It's the potential and how retro the game is which attracts people like me. Revisiting old school games with a new modern twist. Well atleast the dev's constantly working on the game eh?. Hey survivors,

Huge changes are coming to NEVRDEAD in 1.5! Expect an expanded map, continuation of the main story, some new items such as airdrop signal grenades, melee weapons, and more! The terrain and natural vegetation will be getting overhauled as well as new POI's to explore! An quick patch is around the corner for some much needed fixes to 1.4 within the next day or so. A save feature is in the works but isn't guaranteed to make 1.5. Standard mode will have savable progress up until you die - then its game over. (save will be deleted) Hardcore mode will NOT feature saving for those wanting a challenge, as well as mobs will have increased attributes. Frame rates are getting much better, specially with the new update to Unity 5.6. Much of my attention the past couple days has been optimizations and crash fixes. Resource/crafting is being worked on as well in tune with the currency system but isn't guaranteed to make 1.5. Stay tuned though because 1.5 surely won't disappoint! As for fully rigged 3D modelled antagonists they are still very early in development (concept art is still being drawn out) so expect our familiar demonic blobs. Of course there will be some new variations of these demons such as ranged ones and flying demon spawns, so watch out!

Along with the release of 015, our fellow demo demon slayers are getting a nice upgrade as well, much of sum is the same as the full games patch notes but there are some mentions.

  • added new weapons: m1911, bren, r870 short barrel, python, m1 garand
  • added weapon animations for all guns: reload, fire, adsfire, inspect
  • added a player damage indication
  • added player inventory system, you can now store items on you for a reduced yield trade off, you can now also check your scores of ammo and loot you find
  • added level up sound notification
  • build objects have been overhauled, more base appropriate fortifications at your disposal, removed ammo+weapon crate buyables
  • changed location of playable area to southern end with bigger homes
  • changed player fov from 55 to 70
  • changed currency system from money to souls
  • changed all ammo pickup models to resemble their respective type
  • demon spawning will now slowly build from night to night
  • disturbed demons are now ranged, move slightly faster, don't be so careless though they are formidable in packs
  • demons will now destroy your fortifications+builditems
  • fire demons will no longer spew a volley of fireballs rather throw just one
  • improved loot spawn chances for all crate types
  • increased range+radius of the flashlight
  • increased lighting in rooms and tight spaces
  • overhauled HUD_UI completely, not so cluttered
  • +added r870_pickup to the world
  • +added more ammo+wood crates to the world
  • +build cost text_ui color darkened
  • +decreased spawn rates for demon spawners
  • +decreased r870_weapon recoil
  • +doubled ammo_pickup yields
  • +extended demon spawn times, more nights before final horde
