About This Game

Molten Armor is an action tower defense game with a non-linear story in sci-fi setting!
Command defenses and stop hordes of enemies! Fight on land, sea and in the skies!
Decisions taken in the heat of battle will change the course of the war.

The history of the game unfolds on a remote planet Marina - one of the colonies of the Earth Empire, the conflict on which turned into a full-fledged long-term struggle for influence, territory and wealth of the planet. In the game you will take on the role of the brave commander of the defensive unit, who, in the course of the game, will often need to make a difficult choice. What will your decisions lead to - only time will tell, and now is the time to stop the enemy with the firepower of your turrets!

Nonlinearity - depending on your choices, different scenarios will be opened with unique levels - besides visual differences (cities, deserts, snow-covered forests), you can take part in a sea battle, escape from enemies on the train through the desert and go on a bomber flight, shooting enemies from all sides.
Story - your decisions will influence not only the war itself but will also change fates of your squad mates. They can leave your squad, die or join enemy ranks, thus leading you to one of four endings.
Active participation in battle - you can't just build towers and watch the battlefield passively. Key to victory lies in constant buffing you turrets and cleverly using special abilities.
Diverse gameplay - from defending evacuation convoys and participating in an ambush to breaking through enemy defenses and fighting giant bosses.
Heroes - in addition to the player, storyline develops around several persons, who actively participate in both dialogs and combat - each of them can be sent into the battle. Sniper, machine gunner and even a flamethrower tank will aid you with defeating enemies.
Special abilities - In addition to building guns on the battlefield, in the arsenal of defense there are barricades, slowing down nets, mines, rockets and even a tactical slowdown!
Weapons specialisation - different towers work better agains different enemies. For example, a machine gun will do nicely against infantry, and cannons will lay waste to enemy tanks.
Hardcore - this game will make you sweat, but if you want to have some casual fun, you can always select the easy mode.

On normal\/easy difficulty there is no challenge while on hard mode all you do is try to spam repair your squishy destructible towers. Graphically it's nice but the weird difficulty balancing \/ mechanics are just a total turn off for me - and I do like a tough challenge :P. \u00abMolten Armor\u00bb

Hardcore tower defence with great soundtrack and many different levels which requires different strategies and planning. Graphic is so-so, but it doesn't matter that much in TD. Gameplay is challenging and enjoyable - Molten Armor is a great game for hardcore TDs fans.. Saw a link on reddit.

This is quite simply one of the most innovative and the most entertainning games I've played in a while.
With beautiful visuals, a smooth and pleasing soundtrack, combind with a unique gameplay that requires both stratagy and skill.
If you like good strategy, intense challenge and good music, this game might fit all your needs.
Recommended game for all Tower Defense lovers who are looking for some refreshing gameplay mechanics.. At first look it's seems like any other TD game. Waves of enemies, towers, upgrades, fat bosses, powerful heroes... But this game have a nice storyline. Non-linear storyline, where each plot twist depends on your actions and choices. I really like it. In addition, the game can boast of the great variety of enemies, locations of battles, tactical capabilities and, to some extent, even hardcore. So I can recomend Molten Armor to all fans of TD.. Overall : 2/10

Graphics : 2/10
The graphics are ugly and choppy. The characters are drawn with ridiculously exagerated expressions and poses. The female characters manage to be overly sexualized and completely unattractive at the same time. The men are pulled straight out of bad Steven Segal films. The turrets are so badly drawn you can't tell one from the other. And I'm fairly sure the villian is stolen from a 40's nazi comic.

Story : 1/10
The storyline appears to be written by 12 year olds. The dialouge makes no sense and has unbearable grammar. The character is plunged into a fight supporting a side that is being punished for breaking a treaty. There may be some redeeming quality to your side later in the story but it would take an inhuman level of patience to get there through the aweful posturing and overdone archetypes.

Gameplay : 2/10
Fixed turret placement, about 10-14 per map. no strategy. No depth. No money management, you get 10x what you need. Just build an even mix of the total of 4 turret options you have immediately, upgrade them all in the next few seconds, then spam mines and repairs with your effectively infinite funds. There are heros but they act just like a less interesting turret. They don't even move.

Replayability : 0/10
It's not even playable much less replayable. No options or variations on strategy exist.. Takes forever to load, doesn't remember your language and won't skip the story no matter how many times you've seen it. It's way to hard on the first level that I think I just wasted ten bucks.
