About This Game

Gameplay

Light Bearers is a multiplayer asymmetrical hide and seek game where
during each round one player is chosen as the Shadow while the other
players play as Light Bears trying to avoid being infected by the Shadow.
Once infected Light Bears become Shadow Bears and start working
for the Shadow trying to capture and infect Light Bears.

If all Light Bears reach the Light Pool at the end of the round, they win;
however if the Shadow (and his minions) manage to infect all Light Bears
before time runs out, the Shadow wins.

All Bears (Light or Shadow) play in first-person to create a more gripping
and adrenaline pumping experience while most Shadows play in third-
person to give them situational awareness and a sense of true power.

The Shadows

The Free-To-Play version of Light Bearers has two Shadows unlocked and
ready to play. Unlock the DLC - Full Game to gain access to all available
Shadows.

Each Shadow has three abilities crafted for their specific play style; each one
offering the player new and interesting game mechanics and combos.

The Bears

During any given round of Light Bearers you might play as either a Light Bear
or a Shadow Bear. Depending on which one you are, your win condition will
change - evading the shadow and escaping through the Light Pool or chasing
and infecting all remaining Light Bears.

Whether you are a Shadow Bear or Light Bear there are map mechanics that
will aid you in your efforts. Shadow Bears can use the Shadow teleports to
move swiftly and easily around the map whereas the Light Bears have hiding
spots scattered throughout the map that help them avoid detection.

Both bears have a special ability associated with their type. Light Bears have
a usefule Dash that gets them out of tough spots and the Shadow Bears can
create a wall to stop their prey from getting away.

An extremeley fun, and very cute game and is basically zombie tag, but with gummy bears.. its Awesome to play with friends but Solo playing it, its gets boring after awhile. Fantastic game just pure fun and the voice acting is on point only problem is there is nobody promoting this game so the player count is very small apart from that 9/10. Updates where you at?. Really fun seriously more people need to play this game. sooo much fun when playing friends endless laughs and shenanigans. the voice acting for the bears, the taunts, and the sprays are all done well. each shadow has their own unique feel and gameplay and no shadow feels the same. would highly recommend trying this game i mean its FREE why not.. Fantastic free to play mutiplayer game that is fun and challenging! You either play as a lightbear which must hide from the shadows until the 30 second mark where you jump through the pool of light to win game. If a lightbear gets touched by a shadow they become a shadow bear. A light bear can can save another light bear being transformed if they get to them in time. If a light bear becomes a shadow bear permantely they must then try to convert other light bears into shadow bears and stop the last light bearer from going into the pool of light!

The game is a very cute yet creative mutiplayer experience.
The game has bears that swear and if you taunt other bears, you get buffs!
You can wall jump in this game and thus there is a stealth mechanic in hiding to win the game.

There is dlc in this game that is mainly for customization purposes, if you support the devs you can get cool outfits for your bear as well as victory songs when you win, and also creative taunting voice overs and many other custom stuff.
The dlc is worth it if you get heavily invested in this game.

However, though this game is a fresh take on a new mutiplayer experience and you should defintely try it! You can play the full game with dozens of maps for free, dlc is not needed.

I give it a 8/10, Plan to keep it in steam library for more plays!
