I was looking for a tough "Binding of Isaac" genre game and I am not disappointed, even in normal mode you ll have to know how to dodge! So now I play in easy, just don't say it to my wife ;-) + Graphism is decent, for this kind of game it is clean + Controls are Ok, if at the beginning I thought my panda was slow he is not at all + UI is efficient, you can set all you need + There are secret passages!! - Music is nice, retro style, but a little repetitive - Sometimes you can not reach coins - Tough!!! ;-) I'll update my review through my game experience, but for now, for the price, good job guys!!!. A solid Isaac style top down shooter/roguelite. Does just enough to not be an Isaac or NT clone, and shows potential from a responsive and genuine dev.. pros: - nice aesthetics cons: - grinding (you can buy upgrades outside of the game) - engine slows down when there is more action on level - big zoom makes it hard to know where to shoot on bigger levels - just look at - boring upgrades - boring levels - you can carry only one weapon + starting pistol. Very fun game. Recommend! Pros: - Random generated maps. - Fun action. - One playthrough leads to another. - Decent effects and graphics. Cons: - There is lack of content. - Same enemies everywhere. - Slow paced. - Too few room templates.. Feral Fury is an excllent game, one I hope video game developers can learn from. It pretty much plays like The Binding of Isaac, but with hair on its balls, and is far superior by the simple fact you use a mouse to aim and shoot your weapon. There are four different characters to play as, each unique. There are five different game modes, including the tough Daily Run mode. There's enough fun and challenge here to keep you busy for many hours, including 100%-ing this, as it requires you to beat the game's two end-game bosses with each character; that's eight different games. Plus beat Cursed mode with any character. Plus find all shopkeepers, as well as beat the in-game Feral Fighters arcade game. Yeah, there's a game inside this game that looks like some of the games released on Steam nowadays. Just the fact you're a panda marine in space on the verge of invading a planet of space pigs and bugs to conquer it, and you're part of that invasion execution. and you do it Binding of Isaac style, but with a mouse to aim and shoot, should be enough to interest you to try it. I just warn you, it's a fair challenge, and it takes some getting used to, and some upgrades unlocked to get to a place of being useful out there. I highly recommend you find those shopkeepers as soon as possible, which means acquiring the four golden keys. Great job, devs. I do hope you add more to an already excellent game.. Good top down shooter roguelite with permanent character progression. Quite easy on normal mode, but hard mode definitely cranks things up. There are unlockable characters, there's one that has crappy health like the poop from isaac if you want an extra challenge. Well worth the 4 quid. Started out as a phone game but you'd never know. 60fps, good m/kb controls.. First. this is not actually a bad game. Second. this is too standard 2D rogue maze shooter game. .where space pandas fighting evil pigs (that's original I must say. brutal pandas!) PROS? Game is everytime creating a different maze full of items, enemies, traps, bosses, etc. CONS? Everytime the differences are ver very very too. same. Still just a few types of enemies, same traps, same rooms patterns, weapons with too similar effects. So. as I said. this is not a bad game. but there are better ones (for example Isaac serie).. Although A.I. is simple it is supprisingly difficult to contend with in this roguelike. Very smooth simple controls and mechanics. looks to have some replay value with daily runs, randomized levels setups, and loads of powerups and weapons. Wish my gameplay was faster however would be awesome to see it run without lag at times. Special thanks to the developers for troubleshooting my previous buffer problems. They were quick to respond after my first negetive review and kept in contact until problems were resolved. I was also told that they are planning on optimizing the game further for laptops and other lower end rigs. Haven't beat the game or even my first boss yet, but stil feel comfortable recommending this game as well give it a solid 8/10.
