Funny you should ask. My brother and sister were both diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer, another brother with stage II prostate cancer and another sister with stage II non hodgkin's lymphoma. When my oncologist didn't stage my cancer I asked him for it, he said I was beyond staging, that I had a highly aggressive and recurring cancer. I guess I should of kept my mouth shut. Anyway, that was 4 years ago and I'm still here. Go figure.

Hi, it depends on the clinic. As a rule any doctor is obliged to give a full picture of the diagnosis. I would definitely  recommend to go through that article about stage 4 breast cancer prognosis

https://myallamericanhospice.com/stages-of-breast-cancer/ and be sure you are aware of all the peculiarities. Please mind that the most important thing here is to contact a specialist after noticing the first signs of the disease. Hope it can help
