Chengdu has topped the list of the best cities to invest in China for six straight years, and with outstanding performance, was dubbed as the most business-friendly city for global businesses in China in 2018.
"Chengdu gained these honors because of its excellent opening-up policies and development in foreign trade, " said Zhang Qi, a Chinese expert in data analysis, adding that "In the past five years, Chengdu kept a growth rate of around 20%, in the forefront of the country in the scale and growth rate of exports and imports."
