I looked up the words "meditate" and "relax" in the dictionary and didn't find "become sleepy" in their meanings. Which is concerning, because that's basically the effect this game has on me. Except for maybe three modes, the struggle to keep my eyes open was harder than the struggle to stay alive in the game. While playing a certain mode, youll realize soon enough whats the trick to complete it. On a lot of them, its just moving your mouse around, in a circle. When you finish a mode, theres a smooth transition to another one, chosen randomly. Unfortunately, theres a chance you may repeat the mode you just finished. And yes, that does happen. In case youre looking at the achievements and thinking about using this game to increase the size of your gaming be warned. At the time Im writing this review, the names of the modes on the game aren't always the same as on the achievements. You need to look at the achievements picture to see which mode it refers to. Also, if you die while playing a mode and then repeat that mode and actually finish it, you wont get the achievement for it. You need to exit the game, start it again and then complete that mode. This game really needed more attention to details.. Most of the reviews with positive shows that they barely touched the game. Most played until they received their cards. Most will not play it after receiving their cards. The music isn't that relaxing. I was quickly trying to find where to turn the music off. I find that it is impossible for me to lose simply because it is that easy, I up my DPI on my mouse and while it is restricted on the speed regardless of the setting, I can move just a little and it does what I want. Doing that wouldn't cause that much fatigue moving around nonstop. The game is extremely simple too and at this price tag, I think it is expensive for what it is. The only reason I have it is because of some bundle somewhere. The only reason why I played it was to receive the cards. However, I tried to enjoy it, but it's not going to happen. It's very boring. If you want to relax, you can relax better with free sound tracks of nature or other soothing sounds. This isn't really that soothing, I actually find it kinda annoying. Gameplay: 1/10 Sound: 2/10 Visuals: 2/10 Graphics: 1/10 Replayability: 0/10 Fun Factor: 1/10 Options: 0/10 Value: 1/10 Recommended price: $0.49. Without controller or keyboard support this 'projectile dodging' game is simply not worth playing. The speed at which you're allowed move your cursor is so limited that you'll find yourself dragging the mouse all over your desk, lifting and slamming it down repeatedly. The game touts this as a feature, proudly stating: "You can't move any faster. Plan ahead." It might be relaxing or even fun if it offered a different control scheme. As it stands just about all you can hope to get out of this title is carpel tunnel syndrome.. Move your mouse to dodge homing projectiles in multiple different gamemodes. That's about all there is to this game.. simple, yet challenging. Game had mixed reviews. But it was 99 cents! No? Ahh okay. The game is pretty amusing. I wouldn't spend a ton of time playing it, but I think it's a neat concept. It's similar to pretty much any game where you're flying in a ship dodging stuff, but instead of being a ship, you're just a dot. And you don't have guns. I personally perfer the ones where you have guns and are shooting ships/asteroids/etc, but this one feels similar and is still fun. If you like those types games I'd recommend it if you can pick it up cheap. I wouldn't expect to play it for hours on end, but it's a unique enough experience that I think it's worth a purchase when it's on sale. Good game if you've only got a few minutes to spare and don't know how else to use your time.. Borealis is a fantastic bullet dodging game. If you were alive in the 80s and played Asteroids, it is very similar to that. However, in this iteration of space exploration and projectile dodging, your ship ( a ball of light ) is incapable of firing upon the incoming onslaught. Instead, it is up to you to mouse your little bauble away from your impending doom. Hopefully, these destruction seeking rays of light will crash into each other and give you the space to navigate to safety. There are 12 different levels to play in 3 different styles. One can play Survival mode, Score Run, or a version where death is not an option, called Endless. The levels provide the user with different backgrounds, sounds, and projectile styles. The visuals for all of these levels are fantastic! When paired with the ambient music and sound effects, one can truly get entranced in the zen like nature of this space-like experience. This rather affordable game can be found on Steam for a few bucks and will provide hours of endless light dodging entertainment.. A fairly limited score attack game where you move your mouse to avoid incoming missles. You literally just move around your mouse cursor. Im kind of at a loss for words for what else I should write here. Its not incompetently put together, but at the same time its so insubstantial that I cant bring myself to play it for more than the 10 minutes I put into it. Because I personally dont really care about score attack games. And I really cant recommend buying this game at $5.
