Guided by Voices is an indie rock band formed in Dayton, Ohio, United States in 1983. I like how Woodworth gives just enough history of the band without making this a biography, and just enough praise to not sound totally fanboy. Alien Lanes and Bee Thousand are both songs from the Grand Hour EP, and Under The Bushes Under The Stars is a lyric from "Planet's Own Brand".
