Nathdwara, located between the Aravali hills is a small and ancient town of  Rajasthan which is home to a deity of Krishna. Shrinathji temple is undeniably one of the most beautiful temples of Rajasthan with a quite interesting history. While the most of Nathdwara is the Shrinath Ji temple, there are other places to visit and things to do in Nathdwara that will attract you. I consider myself very fortunate that I got an opportunity to visit Nathdwara to feel the divine presence of god at Shrinathji temple. Let’s explore what all you can do in this beautiful town. 

• Visit Shrinath Ji Temple for a Divine Experience

Shrinathji is one of the avatars of Lord Krishna and Shrinathji temple is a must-visit religious place in Nathdwara. Devotees visit from all around the world to get just one glimpse of beautiful Lord Krishna. I visited the temple during my tour to Rajasthan and the spiritual vibes and aura of that place made my heart feel truly content. At the time of festivals like Janmashtami, Holi, and Diwali, the temple looks magical and is usually overcrowded. The long wait in the queues does not stop the people from praying and their faith in God keeps them going. 

• Enjoy Shopping tour in Nathdwara

Nathdwara is quite famous for shopping. After the darshans at Shrinathji temple,  you can go on a shopping spree and buy many products for yourself or your friends and family. In the market, you will find gorgeous Picchavi paintings of Shrinathji in his different postures. The picchavi paintings are great souvenirs that you should definitely add to your shopping list. You can also buy handicrafts, silver jewellery, clothes, bags, perfumes, and many more products. 

• Visit Charbhuja Temple 

Charbhuja temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. It is a stunning temple with historical importance because it is said that Lord Vishnu was worshipped by Pandavasas as well. The intricate architecture with mirror work and marble cravings is surely a feast to the eyes making this temple one of the best places to visit in Nathdwara. Visit and sit at the temple for some peaceful time. 

• Enjoy lip-smacking Street Food of Nathdwara 

For a foodie, Nathdwara is your paradise as there are many delicious dishes for you to try. Every region has its own speciality and street food is very popular in Nathdwara. When you visit the Shrinathji temple, you will find a market there where you can enjoy and buy Rajasthani products and there are many food stalls also where you will find amazing and tasty food. I tried many dishes in Nathdwara and some of my favorites dishes include Poha, Pudina Tea, Pakoras, Dhokla, and Kachori. You can also try revival thali in which you will get a variety of dishes and local food
