About This Game

The Labyrinth is a text-based dungeon crawler with a heavy emphasis on combat and looting. You take control of a party of 4 adventurers as they attempt to purge the evil of a cursed dungeon that's been spewing out hoards of monsters to the surface. The dungeon is filled with spirits looking to help or harm you, and enemies looking to stop you in your tracks. Collect loot, unlock and upgrade abilities, and fight your way to the end!

Features:

16 playable classes, each with their own assortment of 9 unique abilities
30+ enemy classes, each with their own 9 unique abilities
Countless combinations of items, enemies, bosses, and floors allow you to return again and again
Run length settings allow you to complete the game either in one sitting or multiple
Seeded randomness allows you and a friend to play the same runs, or for you to replay the same run

Controls:
The mouse can control every aspect of the game.

When in combat the keyboard can be used to issue commands:

When an action is not prepared, numbers 1-8 select the corresponding entity, "A" prepares an attack, "Q,W,E,R" prepares the corresponding spell, and "S" skips your turn.
When preparing an attack/spell, numbers 1-8 selects the corresponding target and "C" cancels.
At any time left+right can be used to flip through the combat log, and up-down can be used to flip through the information screens.

Love the game so far
It's a really enjoyable dungeon crawling adventure, I'm looking forward to future content. A good old dungeon crawler.. I recommend the game.

This game has potential and places to grow and branch out, from different monster types to abilities. I was always a fan of these minimalistic game designs that just let you pass the time without having to stress over it.

At first the game seemed like a handful, lots of information but it turned out more simple and fluent in its controls than it seems. Sure its clunky and has some bugs, but is it worth its price? Sure it is! And if you still doubt if you want to buy it check it out on one of the many websites that its on for free!

I personally found the game interesting enough and wanted to support the developer, but its honestly not the greatest of them all. I give it a nice solid 8\/10, even though my opinion only matters to me :). There is a bug which is very annoying. It always cause me to stop a save which I have been playing for over ten hours. The bug is that nothing happens after I made an attack or a spell, all things just stuck there, while music still plays, and what left to me is just quit and restart the save, do the same steps and see if it stuck again. It is really bad.
But the game is almost perfect for me except that former bugs. Though it has no story while still tagged as text-based story, the combat mechanism definitely saves the game from being boring.balbalbalbllalallaal
Simply put, a wonderful game. It is worth the money.
Some suggestions:
1) Enemy should be diverse and evolve, especailly in deeper floors. Only increasing the magnitude of ability while the type of ability is constant is kind of boring.
2) you could make the game being more and more complex as the gamer progress deeper and deeper, it seems almost the same to the former one. However, crawling floors at the beggining gives me the same feeling I felt when first beating Gundyr in dark soul. This game is insanely hard and not friendly to beginner, and it disappoints to me when I found deeper floors is not chanllenge in later period.. typically i dont write reviews but seeing as how this game is as underrated as it is i figured it could use a bit of love especially since ive enjoyed it. Now first off i will say the game needs some work, but not much really. a few words need some spell checking here and there (although not many its somewhat rare and the ones that do you can understand) and ive only ever come across 2 bugs the first which ive only encountered once is after killing an enemy you get locked into the screen and you can only use the charicter you killed them with to interact but after trying to do so it doesnt work anyways, however its an easy fix i exited the game and went back and the creature died instantly. the second one doesnt happen very often but can be a bit irritating, after an encounter on occassion the loot thats dropped wont appear and your forced to move on and take the money for it. Other than those minor bugs and spelling errors its definitely worth the price for a lil dungeon crawler. I play this alot when im on a trip and my only option is non-performance taxing games and this is great for that. fighting is well balanced and it has a new-game+ option if you continue on to the end of the labryinth, overall its pretty good but i would like to see the devs fix those minor issues.. Very nice game. (turn-based, party advancement, different loot levels). The holiday special suprises are fun.

p.s i found a glitch where a hexxer was feared and had no enemies to attack since I killed all his allies and it was glitched saying " hexxer skipped his turn " but still being on hexxer's turn
