Though there are somethings that didn't go smooth in both scenarios and translations, I think the core story itself is a very fulfilling one for original Grisaia fans. Elements such as events, dialogues and expressions had marvelously emphasized the character without spoiling the original game. Cuteness enhanced to the MAX.. I'll go ahead and review Part 1 and Part 2 together as they're one complete cohesive story. Frontwing is well known for their popular VN series named Grisaia. This is a spin off game that uses the characters from the Grisaia series but puts them in a completely alternate world. The VN is laid out in an Anime style format with 13 Episodes complete with Intros, Outros and recaps at the beginning of most of the episodes. I liked this format very much and it allowed me to easily identify convenient stopping points for taking breaks or stopping reading for the night. The characters are all quite unique and they all bring something different to the table. I haven't played the Grisaia games yet because they're quite expensive, but if these personalities carry over than I already know I'll enjoy the series. I'd have to say the story was about 60% humor, 35% serious and 5% fanservice. It was very mild in terms of lewdness but there were a few good inuendos mixed in there. I won't go into detail about the story because well, I don't have any interest in possibly spoiling anything. But it was decently entertaining. The visuals are pretty solid. I saved screenshots of most of the CGs for use as desktop backgrounds because they were pretty good. Overall I'd say the two games are a solid 7/10. Not a "must buy", but certainly worth the money for VN fans.. I thought I would do a little review covering both parts. I definitely recommend this, especially for fans of The Fruit of Grisaia. It has all the characters from the VN's, the artwork is beautiful and it is hilarious. I'm glad Michiru got her own story. I like her a lot more now.. Just like the first part, should you buy this full price? No. It's wayyy too short to justify the $20 price tag. It was only 4 hours for me. If you're a fan of Grisaia games and if you wanna see more of Michiru you'll enjoy this. Obviously play part 1 before deciding to buy this. If you dont like part 1 well you prob wont like 2. It was very funny and i recommend people that want it go add it to their wishlist and wait for a sale.. A whacky spin-off story where Michiru and Kazuki are magical girls and must save the world. Part 2! With the story now complete, I guess I will say that this is typical of the Grisaia spin-offs that I have seen so far. Namely that this is a mostly silly storyline that is a nice little treat for people who liked the main games. Also that basically if you simply want to spend more time with the same characters, then this pretty much lets you do that. I can't say that these games are as good as the main games of the Grisaia series, but it is still fun in its own way. With that said, this story is not all that long, so getting this during a sale is probably best. Hooray. (And yes, I still think that stuff involving Yumiko and ice cream is just. weird.). i got this off humble and it gave me cancer. This is the second and final chapter of the Magical Girl CCM saga. and it is just as much of a funny blast as the first volume. It also has an undercurrent of heart that is wonderful. I shall recommend this, but would suggest waiting until it is on-sale, and that you acquire the first volume at the same time. It might be a bit confusing otherwise.. Enjoyable. Not quite as good as the trilogy it comes from but defintly a enjoyable VN.. Well I bought the first one, so I may as well complete the set.. More CG, but shorter than part 1. It's more serious and less easy-going than part 1, too. Still overpriced.
