Not a bad old school shooter in the first person. I'd like to note a good schedule and a diverse arsenal. The drawback is too short and sometimes monotonous. It is possible to take a discount.. Don't buy this game. I hate to be the first guy to write a review and have it be bad, but this game isn't good. The soundtrack is boring and repetitive, there is no story that I can find, and the controls make it almost unplayable.. I buy this game and on the steam page of the game they specify the game drop cards! but in reality is dont drop!!! dont buy the game if you want the cards !! lie from GameDEV !! phokers.. Excellent first-person shooter. He brings back memories from his childhood.. Nice game.. Despite having distinct art style (the main reason I came to this game, other reason being 75% discount resulting in about 1u20ac purchase), it has some drawbacks. If you want to feel real nostalgia and taste of post-DOS times, then I'm not sure they are drawbacks at all. The thing I'm talking about is mouse control issue, I don't know what mouse is devs using, but with fast pooling, high dpi mouse the game is not playabe. There comes the real nostalgia, remembering the times when turbo button was a thing on a pc, the strugle trying to run a dos game on newer cpu what was tied to clock speed, oh memories. memories. Hawn't felt that frustration in a long time, didn't expect it to feel in 2018, still life is full of surprises. Oh well, I'm used to play games not with the mouse, can play them with directional buttons too, like in the doom back in days. So I put my both hands on keyboard, heh, still can move prety decently this way after all these years, not bad, not bad. One last thig, which button was to shoot on keyboard.? And then it hit me like a Miley Cirus on a wrecking ball, the only button to shoot is on the mouse. Really, you double mouse movement on keyboard but not include the fire button? My last hope was laying on table besides my mouse, it was xbox controller, and guess what, not working as well. Really Coconut monkey, was that too much to ask for option to remap controls, even doom had it. I can recommend this game only to those who seek bdsm or other self torture means. Or if you lucky enought maby game will work on your pc as suposed. Either way its your choice to not buy or refund after. As for me, I will not ask for refund, but will hope that devs hear us and add way to remap controls, even it is throught .ini file, or preferably in-game, and fix what is wrong with mouse.. Great, unless you have bad sense for directions.. Good graphics, fun weapons, good music and sound effects, and good controls. I just want more levels which from their community news I think is what their working on (at the time this comment is uploaded there is only seven levels). Overall a good wolf3d styled throwback.. Cyber Utopia is oldschool fps, I loved, it reminds me corredor 7 for some reason, but plays like wolfenstein 3d, so that is a fast pace arera fps aka old school fps, without reload mechanic and weapons that get stronger and stronger, kind like doom but with maze level design +amazing soundtrack +female protagonist +projectile based enemies 10/10. If you want to feel like a power ranger this is the game for you (don't get excited, you have no reason to). Otherwise, it's unplayable. Don't bother. - No key rebinding. - No controller support. Partial mouse support. - No graphical options. I have a 4K display and I'm forced to play this low res game in full screen and it looks terrible. Near-VGA in Ultra HD looks crappy as hell and it causes unnecessary eye strain. A windowed mode choice would be common sense. - Horrible FOV, blurry image. - You need three hands to control the game. Sadly, I only have two so I cannot play it. There's no key on the keyboard that swings the knife (I couldn't get past the start since it's unplayable so I don't know about other weapons). You have to press the left mouse button to swing the knife. The mouse movement is not recognized no matter its sensitivity (and my mouse goes from 240 to 4000 DPI). It might work with a ball mouse but I don't have any so I don't know. In order to move you need to use WASD and the left and right keys: A and D for strafe, W and S for back and forth and left and right to rotate your character. In other words, with one hand you move the character, with the other hand you rotate your character and with your third hand you use the knife. It makes sense, right? On the plus side, the dysfunctional control creates the unique possibility for you to invite several friends over for a one-keyboard-one-mouse local co-op in order to control the on-screen character, so basically you can imagine the character is a Megazord and you and your friends are power rangers that control their part of the Megazord. Joke aside, I have a high end setup so I don't know how this performs on a potato PC but I have none around so I don't know if it works or not on lower end hardware even though it should theoretically run even on a toothpick (in full screen at its native resolution). Honestly, there is no reason for this 8 MB game to have that many issues. All in all I cannot possibly recommend this game. Too bad, because it looked interesting and I really wanted to give it a chance.
