Tired Tottenham will need to snap out of their recent funk when they travel to Amsterdam for the second leg of their Champions League semi-final tie against Ajax on Wednesday evening.

Tottenham Hotspur fans have been left angered after Andy Robertson avoided punishment for the same type of incident which saw Son Heung-min sent off.

The Spurs forward was shown a straight red card during his side's 1-0 defeat to Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon after he pushed Jefferson Lerma in chest following a challenge by the Cherries midfielder.

But now fans of Mauricio Pochettino's side have been left questioning the decision after Liverpool's Robertson avoided punishment in his side's clash with Barcelona on Tuesday night.

The Scotland international appeared to push the Barca forward with both hands in the head, and fans have taken to Twitter to question the consistency around the incident.

One Spurs fan said: "So Son gets sent off for pushing someone on the shoulder , and Robertson gets nothing for pushing someone's head. consistency."
