Siliceous sand layers were used in the central core, which was intended to increase the pipe wall thickness and in the outer pipe wall surfaces, which was aimed to increase the polyester resin matrix resistance and resilience, while a resin rich layer was poured in the inner layer to create a smooth pipe internal surface - River table resin.
