An Italian businessman with close ties to his government calls on Frank Cannon when his daughter is kidnapped in the United States and held for ransom for the release of terrorists currently imprisoned in Italy.
The story begins with the daughter of a rich and important Italian businessman running off with her Palestinian boyfriend. However, as they leave her property there's a shootout and the boyfriend's 'associates' come to the rescue. But this is not so much a rescue as they are there to kidnap her! Soon the Italian government is getting demands to release a group of captured terrorists or the girl will die.

Over the course of the show, it becomes obvious that the boyfriend is a kinder, gentler sort of terrorist and he does love her. It's also obvious that his friends are cursed with not niceness....and so it's up to Cannon to come to the rescue.

The episode is interesting but also comes off as a bit naive about terrorism. The whole love conquers all plot seems just trite.
