The Powerpuff Girls have always saved the world before bedtime, but Mojo Jojo is back with his most diabolical scheme yet. As Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup face off with their enemy, the girls may have found the one challenge that has them staying up past bedtime.
I really loved the Powerpuff girls, and i love all of the episodes, even the movie, the key to the city episode, and now.. this episode. Cartoon Network really messed up the whole production of this special because of Craig McCracken was not involved with this one. The continuity is especially, without a doubt, nowhere close to the original episodes, because Craig Mccracken throws in a curve-ball to change the arts. At least the special gives off a few good ideas, and a handful of exciting moments, but unfortunately, it is not enough for the girls and their professor to recover from this malicious loss in control. On the other hand, the graphics look so showgirls-esque, and only a hyper-active Fanny can squeeze any enjoyment out of Cartoon Network's latest adventure with the girls. Overall, i love the Cathy Cavadini, Tara Strong, and Elizabeth Daily, and the original voice actor's reprisals of their respected roles. Concluding my review, Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup were not too cute for me. Stick to the original episodes, even the post-movie episodes.

Graphics: 1.5/10. Canon and Continuity: 0/10. Voice Acting: 10/10. Quality: 0/10. Overall: F-/ I remember when I first saw the commercials for this I knew it was gonna SUCK! And it did, after I first saw this I instantly hated it. For one thing I hate what they did to the characters. They made them look like idiots. Like in one scene Mayor couldn't reach his pickle jar because it was on a high shelf so he calls the girls to help him. But Bubbles won't leave because she is addicted to this dance game they got at the store. So they go without her. But when the other two get to the mayor's office they discover they need Bubbles to help them get it down. WHAT?!?! How many Powerpuff girls does it take to take a pickle jar from a high shelf? Apparently according to this special, all three. And another thing that doesn't make sense is when they're forced to work for the evil side they somehow turn into these robot things. Even the way the robots are defeated is a dance off. Once again: WHAT?!?! WHY?!?! It literally feels like the characters were watered down from the original show for this special. And another thing. The animation, It's ugly, which is sad because technology has gotten better. If the original has better animation than this than that's saying something because it originally came out in the late 90s. So what I would do is give this a skip and go watch the original some more.(including the 2008 special Powerpuff Girls Rule! which should of been the last episode)
