Method. Mix 500g strong white flour, 2 tsp salt and a 7g sachet of fast-action yeast in a large bowl. Make a well in the centre, then add 3 tbsp olive oil and 300ml water, and mix well. Tip onto a lightly floured work surface and knead for around 10 mins.

Directions. In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Add the sugar, salt, oil and 3 cups flour. Turn onto a floured surface; knead until smooth and elastic, 8-10 minutes. Punch dough down. Bake at 375 for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and bread sounds hollow when tapped.
