There's an awful lot going on here to the point that it isn't really "about" anything, as if someone realised there's only four episodes left and decided to pick up a bunch of dangling plot threads and run with them.The idea of a truce with the Founder mostly feels like padding since it's clear the two sides don't trust each other and the episode ends up segueing into the story of Roger's long promised return.

John and Jedikiah put in a pretty poor showing as guards but elsewhere the character dynamics are good, especially anything involving Cara, Stephen and Astrid, who play off each other well.Stephen and Hillary get some interaction of a more up close and personal kind but her involvement in the climax, with the TPs not really trying to hide Roger and Jedikiah from her, feels a bit contrived.The final scene, of her reporting to the Founder, but looking unhappy about it, is actually nicely ambiguous.
