About This Game

Play as Jeeboman in this fast paced retro arcade shooter built ground up for room scale VR. Save your city from waves of invading robots and dish out destruction with a full arsenal of futuristic weaponry.

Jeeboman has at his disposal 5 unique high powered weapons. The weapons will look familiar, but you've never been able to use them like you will be able to in Jeeboman. Rocket launchers, hand cannons, lasers, teleportation, and shotguns can be dual wielded in both hands through an intuitive weapon wheel designed from the ground up in VR for the fastest weapon switching you've ever tried.

Jeeboman offers an hour of gameplay that will take you from your city to the invader's UFO. Players will experience about 45-60 minutes of action in either easy, normal, or hard modes. It's an assault on the senses and anything longer would be punishing.

Looks good from the screenshots. Not so fun to play. It's like going through a meat grinder from both directions while getting clubbed in the head by angry kids.

On the plus side, the giant ants look cool and give a fun sense of scale

Just did not enjoy never being able to look around and figure out what's going on before spamming weapons. It'a all about drawing fire to your location, then teleporting to a new spot and take a few shots, rinse and repeat. And repeat. And repeat. And repeat.

First game to give me motion sickness from all the frantic looking around to figure out what the @!#% was attacking me.

And in conclusion, meh.
. Incredibly awesome game! Far better than Space Pirate Trainer, with good strategies and satisfying, useful weapons. This is THE game of this type to get for Vive! And the price can't be beat either.. At launch, in my opinion, this is the best shooter for room-scale VR with tracked controllers.
The price is incredibly good: compared with the other offerings, I expected this content to be well more expensive.
I love the Matrix-style time-slowing to a crawl, where my normal speed feels lightining-fast!
Love the huge weapons that can also act as shields!
Love the big projectiles destructable at mid air.
And I very much appreciate the tactical choices introduced by the teleporting mechanic.
The room-scale physical movement necessary to avoid the moving grids is also a cool innovation.
There are many cool and innovative ideas for VR shooters with tracked controllers and room-scale: I am sure that several future VR shooters will "borrow" ideas from this game. To me, it is genre defying.
CONS:
The introduction \/ tutorial are off-putting (but resist through the first 10 minutes and then the gameplay is fun.)
Developer! Come on, let people start directly inside the training-room! (and let the tutorial be an option only after the players fail the training room).
The colors are a bit strange.
The 'easy' level feel quite difficult \/ frantic, but it makes for good physical exercise, I guess.. Great game! Fast paced and good idea with the teleportation. A few times the enemy were a bit dumb (getting stuck on things), but overall this game is amazing and well polished. Definitely worth the price.. space pirate trainer + teleporting + powerups
very cool, lots of fun, low replay value though...
hope they add more levels. now theres only one.... i really love this game, got to play it a while back and its the best VR game i've played yet. the arcade style really fits the game well. i really enjoy the shotgun in the game, its really freaking cool. the teleportation mechanic is enjoyable also.
