Db2 v10 sql reference manual

Also the listserv in idug is pretty active. in db2 z/os columns are limited to 30 characters, however, sysibm.syscolumns.name is varchar(128). Is there a way to use column names longer than 30 characters? This would be helpfull for software developed on other systems.
