Not better than yakuza 0 but still pretty damn good. this whole series needs to be ported to pc!. There is literally a mission where you beat the crap out of two transgenders...10\/10. SEGA pls port entire series and spin-offs. Start with yakuza 0 then when your hooked see you here.. I bought Kiwami 2 as soon as it was released but i WILL NOT start it until i max this one out, which I think describes my enthusiasm for this franchise pretty well. It's good. You should try it.

9.7\/10 not enough majima. KIRYU HAS NEVER KILLED ANYONE
-Kiryu doesn't kill people.
-Kiryu uses rubber bullets.
-Kiryu is a licensed physician specializing in pain management and euthanasia for the terminally ill.
-Guns, accidents, gravity and explosions kill people.\ufeff
-Enemies committed suicide before crashing\/exploding.
-Enemies were confirmed alive with minor gun wounds and burn injuries.
-Enemies were sent to the other dimension\ufeff.
-Enemies use bulletproof jacket.
-Enemies died of a heart attack.
-Enemies landed on cardboard boxes.
-Enemies use ketchup packets.
-Everyone Kiryu shot at survived and is hiding in a cave.. I just finished the game and I was impressed... This is definitely one of the best story-based games I have ever played. The Story is literally the best story of a game I have played, the fighting is so much fun and the characters are so damn badass!

It's really worth it!. This is the second Yakuza game I've played so far (the first being Yakuza 0) and these games are \u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665ing awesome. Lots of easter egg references to themselves and pop culture references befitting the time frame whichever game you're playing is set in. Kiryu is one noble SOB, and it will break your heart watching the various tragedies he has to overcome. This game also does a really nice job teaching you to use Dragon of Dojima fight style, which is the strongest and IMO hardest to use of all the fighting styles. (Mad Dog of Shimano is peak, fight me).

My only complaint is you dont get to play as Majima (starting with 0 spoiled me I guess) but his interactions with Kiryu make up for it. Also no miss able achievements was a nice change.. \u201cKiwami\u201d means extreme.
