Invite up to three of your friends to the garage and pick unique characters to compliment your skills. Together you can seek for rare parts on junkyards, completely rebuild trucks from the frame up or race each other.

Scavenge junkyards to find rare parts or send your buddies for the hunt. When you seek for car parts, you can find some old rusty wreckage. Don't get fooled by its look - that decayed frame can become the next Mega Ram Runner. When you finish your build you can sell it, or... give it away to make someone's day truckin' awesome!

Put your tuning and driving skills to the test. Tweak your truck's performance to achieve the best results and prove dominance over your opponents when racing against them online.

This is my honest review of the game. i spent hours watching other people play and decided to buy and try. so far just over 3 hours played and it lives up to the name. i have read some reviews and find the negative ones a bit harsh. this game is called "Diesel Brothers: Truck Building SImulator". NOT Truck Mechanic Simulator. people saying to rather not buy this game because you cant strip the engine... NOT what this game is about (not yet anyway). the emphasis here is BUILDING A TRUCK. i find it more realistic at this point than CMD2018. Honestly. in CMS you buy hundreds of parts and poof, ALL those parts are on your person... like where? in your massive father christmas backpack? no waiting time for parts. you cant do body swaps or build a car from the ground up. HOW REALISTIC.

another point i would like to make is this game was released to public 2 days ago. the potential for this game to add a crap ton more features is there. No game ever is released in PERFECT STATE. dont not buy this game because everyone says CMS2018 is better. CMS' emphasis is on Mechanic SIm. Truck Building is emphasis on Truck Building.

for the developers.
if you are going to make huge changes to this game like being able to tear down a complete motor and more in depth tear downs, PLEASE do this on an advanced mode. the game as it stands now can be a beginners mode which in my opinion is good. if i feel like putting a truck together while waiting to go somewhere, how it is now WORKS. if i feel like wanting to try different engine parts then let me do that in a different mode. secondly, parts preview. add images to the parts store so that we know what things look like before we buy them. that way my garage doesnt have to have every single wheel type so i can choose what wheel i want on my new truck.

the more i play the game the more i will add to this review. but i hope this review helps potential buyers to not be put off because everyone compares this to CMS2018 because its not!

This game is in early stages and lets work with the developers to make this game what we want it to be!. The textures in Goldeneye 007 are better than this game... i wish that was a joke.
and the controls are even clunkier than car mechanic simulator.
Stick to CMS18 if your into this kinda game.. If you enjoy Mechanic simulators, this is definetly a fine addition to your collection.
Do not mistake DB for Car Mechanic Simulator, this title is something different.
First off, parts do not "disappear" in some imaginary inventory, but you pick them up with your hands and put them wherever you want.
Every single aspect of a truck (with an exception for little little things) is present and needs to be done properly.
Screw, unscrew, move, paint, scratch, change, buy, sell parts in any way possible.
Did I mention that painting is actual painting with a pistol to create your own style? Well, yeah.
When you order a part, it takes some time to be delivered and since some orders have a deadline, it's up to you to work as fast as possible to be rewarded.
You can test vehicles on track, with friends in multiplayer or solo, damage them and start all over again.
Parts can be bought full price or found in the scrapyard at a lower quality, but with the advantage of restoring them yourself.
At last, you can join auctions to sell your creations, advertising your products and making new fans everyday.

It has everything from the show.

Currently, not many vehicles are featured, but surely more will come in the future.

Note: game is still barebones in some parts, but the devs are updating it on a daily basis, which makes me hope in some new element coming into the game.. Game could be nice, but things that should be tested before release were forgotten. We played whole party ( 4 people ), spent evening and even enjoyed process. We got 150k and finished playin. We log in today, we got all our equipment, we got our car-projects, parts, old tyres and♥♥♥♥♥♥ But our account is 722 USD. Thanks a lot, whole evening was for nothing. Car playground works as♥♥♥♥♥♥ feels like alpha-preview, on any PC with any ISP. Try it, if you want to waste your money, your time and your brain cells, also you can feel ♥♥♥♥ed by some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥s, who was dumb enough to think, no1 would find out, that game don't even match Early Access requirements.. My PC Specs:
CPU: Intel Core i5-6500 3.20Ghz
Ram: 16Gb DDR4-2400
Graphics: Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060 6GB

baring in mind my pc specs are within minimal and recommended specs range. Please take the game off of sales until Q&A have fully done some tests on graphics, performance etc, before submitting games to steam. you wouldn't want to end up like Playway S.A ended up after publishing car mechanic simulator 2018 with nothing but bugs that left the game unplayable. but in the end the developers of Car Mechanic Simulator 2018 resolved majority of issues within 3 month by listening to their community and actively working with the community to fix the game.

I wouldn't recommend this game simply because it needs A LOT of optimisation.
Every 5-10 seconds my game freezes.
The Tutorials have been badly written. there is nowhere near enough information for anyone to follow the tutorial.
compared to Car Mechanic Simulator 2018, at least they got their game working in the end.

but back to the game.
taking doors off. ok not a problem... but have you considered actually mentioning what to do after and make it so when you put the doors in the trailer the door doesn't go flying out of the trailer and out of the warehouse and left with no door thus having to reboot the game and start over again, just to have the same thing to happen more than a few times? i think this is quite hilarious that the door goes flying out of the warehouse. but it would be helpful if it didn't do that. because i legitimately want to play this game and enjoy it. but unfortunately with how unoptimised the game is, it currently isn't in a correct playable state..

Please note: until the game is fixed. i cannot give this game a good review.. I was very disappointed in this game. I thought it would be similar to CMS. You order parts and they show up on the floor, and you'll spend most of the time running back and forth... back and forth... back and forth... and then after you mount them up you have to hope you remembered to use the impact wrench to get ALL the bolts. There's still some serious bugs in the "missing parts from the truck" section.

I finished assembly, didn't install the drive shaft, and it said the truck wan't missing anything. It also allowed me to install the engine with out putting in the motor mounts first.

Doesn't have officially licenced vehicles, there's no real preview on the parts (there's a generic icon, but it's a crap shoot when picking tire, rims, bumpers, basically any part that has variation.

You can't search for them by name in the store, there's no tear down/build of the engines (which is what I really wanted out of this game... you know?.... Cummins, Power Stroke, Duramax from the inside out) and the skinniest "monster" tires I've seen on a truck with a 12" lift.

I really would have like to have been able toI take the entire truck to the paint booth?

I did a full build from the frame up, which is a plus but unless you have 4-5 hours in the game already, you're going to do a lot of guess work in trying to figure out what's needed. This for me ended up resulting in more pain that pleasure.

The entire game should have been a DLC for CMS. As for the driving section, if you want a real truck experience with awesome off-road trucks go play Mud Runner/Spin Tires.... Maybe the Diesel Brothers should have paid to have their trucks modeled and DLC'd for that game instead.

I feel this game was rushed and needs about 6-8 months more of development.

I've uninstalled it, but since the developers appear to be active in listening to the community, so I haven't requested a refund but I'll revisit in 6-8 months to see if it's fun yet.

p.s. Give the shop more light!!! no one likes building in the dark.. This is just not a good game. Plain and Simple. If you are mechanically inclined in the least bit you'll be left wondering when you get to the good part of the game. Basically you start off with customer orders. They are all very time constraining and they all want Decals. The problem is, I couldn't for the life of me find an option to Mirror or Flip decals. So every truck came out looking like a 6 year old with stickers was told to just slap them where ever they could as fast as they can. And Decals are VERY time consuming to do properly since most orders want 8-12 decals on the truck. Then there's the UI which is clunky at best. Transferring a truck between areas is not as straight forward as it should be. And as for suspension options (if you even make it that far without pulling your hair out) are basically every truck has 3 options. 4, 8, and 12 inch lifts. And the only part of the motor you can change is ECU, Injectors, Radiator, and Turbo. There was no in depth mechanical aspects. Just taking parts off and slapping new ones on. I assume you can swap motors later on which I admittedly didn't do. But I think it fair to assume it's just drop in/drop out without anything engaging. And the cherry on top of this lackluster game was the driving physics. No damage, very little suspension deflection, and clunky turning accumulated into an experience reminiscent of early 2000s Source games (Half-Life 2 for ex.). Take note of the hours played. I enjoy sim rebuilding games, but this is by far the worst of them and I couldn't even make it to my second hour before uninstalling and refunding.
The only positive the game had was sandblasting and painting. But the paint never matched quite right with the rest of the parts on customer's trucks. You'd have to repaint the entire truck to get a clean look.
