Very fun game,
it reminded me a lot of "The Binding of Isaac" with the secret rooms and the itmes.
I'm still wondering about the Talisman portal thou, I have three ones but I don't seem to find the forth one to open it's portal!
Oh well I'll figure it out eventually.. No where near as good as The Binding of Isaac... and yet I still sunk a lot of hours into it.. Mix of Isaac and Gungeon.

Good but too short and easy.. If you like "The Binding of Isac" you might like this. It's a very similar rogue-lite only with furry critters instead of fightened, naked boys and deformed monsters. If anything it looks like the asthetics are heavily influenced by Warhammer 40K or Star Craft. I Usually stray away from rogue-lites but this one was pretty enjoyable as you still have some form of progressing via the "unlock" menu that allows you to start new runs with new upgrades that help you progress through the game after each attempt. The sound track is pretty awesome too. It's a shame that they aren't selling it.

If i had to rate it. I'd say it's a good 8\/10, well above average and fairly well done for a top down shooter rogue-lite.. Pros:
Solid controls
Fun gameplay
Passive Upgrades that carry over
4 characters
A dozen or so weapons
Persistant and cool blood effects

Cons:
Not much content (feels like ~10% of Isaac's content in comparison)
A weird driving section (luckily you can skip this section)
Another weird 'train' level. Luckily it's short, i guess it's supposed to connect the story but i'm not feeling this part.

It's a pretty bare bones, mini-Isaac game with 4 characters & a dozen different weapons. Not sure there will be any more updates/content though so I suspect i'll be done with the game at around the 40-50 hour mark, which is still very good value. There's enough end-game content and variety to keep you playing for a while.

On a side note, i found out there's a mobile version too but after playing that for a few hours, i think it's an older build (last update 1 year ago) as it lacks dynamite (even though there are cracks in walls for hidden rooms) and only has a single playable character, but still pretty cool and i'd also recommend that if you enjoyed it. Controls. Pick this game up. Regardless of how much it's discounted, even\u2014this game is worth its full price.

Basically, Feral Fury is a game in the vein of The Binding of Isaac, Enter the Gungeon, Nuclear Throne, and similar titles. It's a little lighter on the content than those games, but it's also cheaper. It also has a number of advantages over those games.

First and foremost, visually. Feral Fury is very well-done, with high-quality HD sprites instead of the faux-retro pixel art of most other games in this genre. Characters and effects animate very smoothly at 60 FPS, and equipment shows on your character.

The audio design is also very well done. Weapons are punchy and satisfying, explosions are boomy, and the music is way better than it needed to be.

Feral Fury uses a "room-based" map layout like The Binding of Isaac, but rooms can vary dramatically in layout and shape. The environmental graphics are really detailed and there are interactible objects all around.

One of the things I really like about Feral Fury versus BoI or Nuclear Throne is that it has persistent unlocks. That is, when you play, you earn meta-currency, and you can spend that on unlocking items to bring on your next run. This isn't a first in Rogue-lite games by any means, but it's pretty uncommon in this particular style of game.

There are even mini-games and at least one secondary gameplay mode (scrolling shooter sections). For a $7 game this is almost unheard of.

Don't be put off by the "furry" elements of the game; they're not relevant to gameplay and barely relevant at all. I paid $1.40 for Feral Fury and I wish I had got it for full price. If you like overhead-view twin-stick shooters, don't miss Feral Fury!. A surprisingly great little twinstick roguelite. It benefits a lot from not trying to be a Forever Game like Binding of Isaac and its contemporaries and instead has a much more digestible size and price to match. The closest comparison I can draw is Enter the Gungeon, but while that game quickly grew frustrating with its reliance on RNG and flawless play this is much more approachable.. My story of Feral Fury began with my roommate who came to me one day and said 'So I found a thing you might enjoy'. Famous first words. So, he winds up showing me this neat little twin-stick shooter with a panda in power armor. My first thought was 'that's adorable'. My second thought shortly after was a resounding: 'THIS IS AWESOME!' He tells me that I'm free to play it when he's at work, as we Steam Share. He has .7 hours on it at the time of my writing this. I have almost twenty.

If you like games like The Binding of Issac, Nuclear Throne, Enter the Gungeon and others, Feral Fury is a MUST BUY for you. I'll go ahead and echo what everyone else seems to say, but it's true. The controls are tight and responsive, allowing for the fine movements you'll need. The combat is both visceral and fast-paced, making split decisions the difference between life and death. The system is as forgiving as it is unforgiving, punishing second-thoughts and the slow-witted, but rewarding those who understand how the game functions. The soundtrack is perhaps a bit too cheery for what the game is, but it just underlines the deceptive nature of the game.

With permanent upgrades to be unlocked after every run, you'll begin to see improvement with each death, and each time you meet a new enemy, you'll learn how they fight and how they die (enemies mostly give a final attack as they die). Each step, each misstep is a learning experience you'll grow from.

Start on easy. I don't often say that, but Easy builds the base mechanics of the game, and allows you to build the more advanced mechanics later on. If you start too hard, you'll just overwhelm yourself. The bosses are fun and amusing, as well as being challenging and rewarding.

Just keep one thing in mind when playing though... you can only gain so much experience from playing this game. It takes something else to really complete it. Reactions, bravery, training... all of that can be taught. It takes something else, something different to get far. A primordial fire, a feral fury is needed to truly master this game.. No where near as good as The Binding of Isaac... and yet I still sunk a lot of hours into it.. Great little rogue like, controls are sharp, ambiance and soundtrack are nice. Multiple passive to unlock tough you may unlock them fast. New characters upon completing a higher difficulty. And with it's low price there is no reason not to get it.
